As headlines of “Tom Brady Flips Kayak, Needs to Be Rescued”, are making its rounds all over the blogosphere, the 31-year-old New England Patriots quarterback is said to be a little embarrassed about the mishap more than anything else.
He and his wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, rented two kayaks Sunday to ride on Charles River. He ended up flipping his kayak and somehow couldn’t get back in. A source told the Boston Herald:
“He had to be rescued. The launch guy went out and got him and got him back in the kayak. He’s been bragging about it ever since. He’s telling everyone he rescued Tom Brady.”
New England Patriots rep Stacey James was contacted by the paper, but did not know about the kayak incident. No need to worry Patriot fans, he did not re-injure his knee, and teed off with his teammates at the annual New England Patriots Charitable Foundation Golf Tournament on Monday - lookin’ good as always (as you can see in the video below!
